Homework Ideas

Some children are always looking for "homework" like the big kids.  Here are some suggestions you might find enjoyable.

• Read a story with a family member and then have your child search for words or letters on one of the pages after.
• Practice sight words-a, he, no, at, in, see, an, I, so, and, is, the, am, it, to, can, like, up, do, me, we, go, my, on, you, she, yes.
• Go on IXL.
• Practice writing numeral 1-20.
• Go to the technology website on SMS, go to computer lab page, go to kindergarten and try starfall.com.
• Practice counting: 1-70 by end of January, 1-115 by end of year.
• Go outside and play.
